Max Born Berufskolleg
Max-Born-Berufskolleg – vocational college offers part-time and full-time courses in 6 different departments: construction and wood engineering, art and design, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, medical engineering (orthopedics and hearing air acoustics) ranging from certificates to degrees comparable to level 2 to 6.
- We provide foundation programmes (comparable to level 1+2) for students who haven’t succeeded in formal schooling enabling them to achieve at least the Hauptschulabschluss in combination with vocational qualifications.
- We also provide programmes (comparable to level 4) which qualify students to either study at university or university of applied science.
- We strongly support vocational training based on Duale Ausbildung.
- We provide programmes to students who aspire to continue their studies after finishing their apprenticeship to become Staatlich geprüfter Techniker (State-certified technicians, comparable to level 6).
We have a strong cooperation with local industries to ensure that the knowledge and skills within our curricular are appropriate and relevant.
